Your HP/Compaq iPAQ h4155's display assembly consists of two main parts. The Touchscreen panel and the LCD itself. The Touchscreen is the top layer of Mylar and glass that provides the pen interface to the HP/Compaq iPAQ h4155. The LCD is the component that generates the image that you interact with.
This is a damaged LCD with a undamaged Touchscreen. If your screen looks like this, the entire LCD assembly must be replaced and the touchscreen repair is not applicable to your situation.
This is a shattered Touchscreen. It is repairable by replacing the Touchscreen only. However, there may be some damage to the top of the LCD that is not repairable. If you Touchscreen looks like this and the LCD still displays ok, then this is the repair you need.
