i-mate JASJAM Lil Sync DUO Pro HandsFree & Charging Adapter

The majority of new HTC devices are equipped with a new 11-pin USB interface which accomodates two different charging modes: a sync-n-charge mode through a computer USB port (slow charge) and a regular charge mode through an AC/DC adapter or any other charging accessory (fast charge).  Those two charge settings require two completely different pinouts and are not compatible with each other.   The new HTC ExtUSB^TM interface also includes the headset connection.

In select devices, the incompatibility would mean that a sync-and-charge cable for your device, when connected to an AC/DC adapter or similar charging accessories will not be properly configured to charge your device.

Our new Lil Sync^® Duo Pro Adapter is the convenient solution to this common charging problem while incorporating a Handsfree module. Using our DUO Pro adapter causes your i-mate JASJAM to use the most effective “fast-charge” mode when plugged into AC/DC power and the switch is set to 'F'. If the switch is set to 'S', a normal sync and charge functionality is enabled.  Additionally, there is a 3.5mm Stereo headphone jack tailed onto the adapter with an answer button and built-in mic. This allows you to conveniently charge your unit and have handsfree operation for use in an automobile.

In some cases, your i-mate JASJAM will not charge from an AC/DC adapter or other charging accessory when the battery life is below 30 percent. Our Lil Sync^® Duo Pro Adapter will charge your device from a completely drained battery.

IMPORTANT: Our Lil’ Sync® Retractable Sync-N-Charge Cable, or another sync and charge cable, is required to connect your i-mate JASJAM to this adapter.
